James M. Carroll
is an associate of the firm and focuses his practice on personal
injury, employment, workers compensation, and civil rights law.
Mr. Carroll
received his Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude from Marquette
University in 1998. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and of Alpha
Sigma Nu, the Jesuit academic honor society. Before attending law
school, Mr. Carroll was an English teacher in the Milwaukee Public
Schools. He received his Juris Doctorate cum laude from
Marquette University Law School in 2008. While at Marquette Law
School, Mr. Carroll was the Senior Note & Comment Editor of the
Marquette Law Review. His student note, “The Causal Nexus Doctrine:
A Further Limitation on the Employer’s ADA Duty of Reasonable
Accommodation in the Seventh Circuit,” was published in the Spring
2008 issue of the Marquette Law Review and received the Silver Quill
Award for outstanding student writing. Mr. Carroll also interned
with Federal Defender Services of Wisconsin in the spring of 2007.
Mr. Carroll is
admitted to practice in the state of Wisconsin and is a member of
the State Bar of Wisconsin. |
